I'm a Christian, country girl at heart and a biker...no big deal
I bleed blue for the Lady Spartans as one of their lacrosse goalies
I love YOUNG LIFE :)
My heros don't wear capes, they wear dog tags <3 If you don't stand behind the troops, for all I care you can stand in front of em. It's the land of the free BECAUSE of the brave. Lookin' for that redneck romeo :) DTF- Down to fish
My name is Jessi. I am currently sixteen years old. This upcoming school year, I will be a senior in high school. I make A’s and B’s in every single class. I take every honors course that I can. When I graduate, I am planning on joining the military to serve our country. If you walked by me and just took a glance at me, you would think that my life is perfect. I have the beautiful curly hair, the cute button nose, the deep blue eyes, the big smile, the contagious laugh, the popular clothes choices, the friendly personality. But you wanna know a secret? I am suffering from depression and have all of my life. I have been to a psych ward, I have seen multiple psychiatrists, I have to visit a counsler every other week, I am on antidepressants, I frequently have suicidal thought, I cut myself, I burn myself. The whole nine yards. And I am battling all of this on my own. There are so many others out there just like me. The popular cheerleader that looks like a Barbie, the top football player that seems like a typical jock, the kid that always has a rap lyric to apply to every situation, the school “slut” , the valedictorian, the teacher’s pet, the talkative kid that always has something to say, the kid that releases their feelings through art. You don’t know their past, you don’t know their darkest secrets, you don’t know how they feel, you don’t know what they are battling, you don’t know their problems or how they deal with them. Everybody is different. You can call one person ugly and they’ll brush it off. But there are others that would go home and would harm themself. You’ll never know. But don’t take that chance. Stop spreading hate. Stop using your words to hurt others. Stop being inconsiderate. Sure, somebody might seem fine on the outside but it’s crazy how much a smile can hide.
I just really think everyone should read this.
I know exactly how you feel, dear. And I completely agree with you.
